Youth Summit 2023

This year, Youth Summit focused on important and timely topics, including Individual Inclusivity, Youth & the Future, Community Engagement, and Healthy Puketāpapa. These themes were carefully chosen to build on the discussions from previous years, tackle relevant issues facing the community, and support broader community-based inquiries. The initiative aimed to spark meaningful conversations and inspire action on topics that are both impactful and close to home for local youth.

One of the most exciting aspects of this year's Youth Take Action was the collaboration between students from Lynfield College, Marcellin College, and Mount Roskill Grammar School. Coming together in a shared space, students had the unique opportunity to work alongside their peers from different schools, creating a fun and dynamic environment where ideas could be freely exchanged. Whether participating in group activities, workshops, or community discussions, everyone brought their energy, creativity, and diverse perspectives to the table, making the experience both enriching and enjoyable.
